Getting Started

Welcome to Lorika! This guide walks you through your first 10 minutes with the platform.

Prerequisites

• Any Windows, macOS, or Linux device to protect
• A web browser
• 5 minutes

Step 1: Sign up

Visit app.lorika.dev and log in with one of:

• Google
• Microsoft
• GitHub
• Twitter / X
• LinkedIn

Your organization is created automatically on first login.

Step 2: Install the agent

1. Open the Deploy page in your dashboard
2. Copy the install command for your OS
3. Run it on the device you want to monitor

Step 3: Wait for your first scan

The agent runs an initial scan within 1–2 minutes after installation. You'll see:

• 210+ security checks executed
• Software inventory collected
• Vulnerabilities identified via CVE databases

Step 4: Review your dashboard

Once the first scan completes, your dashboard shows:

• Security Score — 0-100 composite score
• Kill Chain Coverage — defense across 6 attack phases
• Top Risks — highest-priority actions sorted by RICE
• Compliance Status — coverage against your selected frameworks
